Biography
i'm a designer, instructor, intuitive, and astrologer. i am the author of Yarnplay: Colorful Techniques + Projects For The Creative Knitter and Yarnplay At Home: Handknits For Colorful Living. i designed the Big Bad Baby Blanket in Deb Stoller's bestselling book 'Stitch N Bitch' and i have a couple of patterns in Vickie Howell's 'Not Another Teen Knitting Book.' i have been a guest on D.I.Y. network's Knitty Gritty. i've written horoscope columns for style. com and the websites for Vogue UK, Vogue Australia, and Vogue Espana, as well as several magazines. i'm mad about jeans, fabulous shoes, and my darling chihuahua, ashby.

knitting, astrology, yoga, meditation, flea markets, outsider art, folk art, obscure fashion/art magazines, film, music, literature, hanging out at sidewalk cafes drinking Campari and commenting on the style of passers-by.
